A laboratory-grown diamond is genuine crystalline carbon, not a look-alike. Its brilliance and durability come from the properties of diamond itself. Every LAMOR&CO center diamond is selected with independently documented characteristics, and each ring is carefully finished in solid gold.

Independent Diamond Grading
IGI Grading: Clarity You Can Verify.
Every LAMOR&CO engagement-ring center diamond is independently graded by the International Gemological Institute (IGI). Its report identifies laboratory-grown origin and documents the center stone's characteristics, including shape, carat weight, color, clarity, measurements, and applicable finish or cut information.
Independent grading lets you review stated characteristics instead of relying only on a photograph. Your ring's product page lists the center-diamond specifications for that design. Accent, halo, side, and pavé stones do not each carry an individual IGI report unless explicitly stated.
What an IGI report tells you
- Diamond identity: whether the diamond is laboratory-grown.
- Carat weight: the actual weight of the center diamond.
- Color and clarity: independently assessed grades.
- Cut, shape and measurements: details used to understand appearance and proportions.
- Report number: a reference for checking the specific report with IGI.
A grading report describes the diamond; it is not an appraisal of the ring or a promise of future resale value.

Solid Gold · 14K and 18K
Understanding 14K and 18K Gold.
Both 14K and 18K are genuine, solid-gold jewelry alloys — not gold plating. The “K” measures how many of 24 parts are pure gold. Because pure gold is relatively soft for a detailed everyday ring, jewelers combine it with other metals to create a durable alloy and achieve white, yellow, or rose gold.
14K Solid Gold
58.3% Gold14 parts pure gold + 10 parts alloy metals
A practical everyday choice. Its greater alloy-metal content can provide a harder, wear-resistant setting depending on the formulation. It is generally more affordable than the equivalent ring in 18K gold.
Well suited to engagement rings and wedding bands that will be worn frequently.
18K Solid Gold
75% Gold18 parts pure gold + 6 parts alloy metals
More pure gold in every setting. 18K contains more gold and may show a richer yellow tone in yellow-gold alloys. Its greater gold content usually means a higher price and, depending on the alloy, different resistance to scratching and wear.
A fine-jewelry choice for those who value higher gold purity and its character.

Understand Your Center Diamond
The 4Cs, Made Simple.
Grading information helps you understand the diamond you are choosing, and each characteristic plays a different role in its appearance.
Carat
The diamond's weight. Two diamonds of the same carat weight can appear different in size depending on shape and proportions.
Cut
How proportions and facets interact with light. Diamond shape (round, oval, radiant, and others) is a separate detail.
Color
Grades describe the diamond's color appearance. The exact grade is provided for each center stone.
Clarity
Grading evaluates internal and external characteristics under magnification.
